Trips| Table Mountain

Morning Lovelies!

It's such a nice day today, well morning. I absolutely love the feeling of nostalgia I get when the weather feels good and there's a cool breeze caressing my skin. As I mentioned in an earlier post I'll upload the pictures of the places I visited while I was in my hometown, I won't delve into too much detail of the history about it, since I hate history and I'm sure you do too. One thing I have to mention is, travelling on a cable car is by far an experience I'll never forget. I've never been on one before, in all my 19 years of being on this planet! Travelling upwards towards the mountain was relatively pleasant, but travelling down wasn't, because the platform on which you stand revolves it's hard to keep your balance so when I was travelling down I felt like I was going to fall out! Also, if you're prone to motion sickness, I suggest to skip travelling on a cable car, I don't get motion sickness easily, but with a revolving platform it's kinda hard not too. All in all it was an enjoyable experience and I'll definitely do it again!

Unknowingly to me, I forgot to put on sunscreen and my shoulders got burnt so badly! They're still burnt and extremely dry!

So hiiiigh up!

I love the colourful design at the bottom of the cable car. Originally the cable car could only accommodate 25 people, but today it can accommodate 65 people! The newly designed cable car that can accommodate 65 people was manufactured by Garaventa A.G. Goldau, Switzerland.

Hikers hiking up the trail leading to the top of the mountain. People only hike if they don't want to pay the pricey 205zar::$23.50 *laughs* I'm sure there are other reasons as to why they would hike up a 1.085 m high mountain, but those reasons I do not know *laughs*

Finally at the top! Apparently, visibility gets so bad when the clouds decide to settle on the mountain that you have no idea where you're going or where anything is!

The view is absolutely spectacular!

The lucky rich people that can afford a house near the beach.

My converses! Oh, how I waited for these beuties! Absolutely love and adore them to bits!

It was buzzing with tourists.

Robben Island, where our former, former president Mr. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years!

The Cape Town Stadium where the Soccer World cup was hosted! The Soccer World Cup had to be the best time of my life, because I finally had the chance to see an international soccer team! I saw the American soccer team and the Italian soccer team.

Love all my dear followers!

The white roofed building is a convention centre  When I was younger my mother would take me to an expo known as "Design 4 Living" it had all sorts of toys and games for children, brings back so many memories!

The restaurant where we ate lunch  the food is made right before your eyes so you don't have to worry about what people are putting into your food or anything.

I hate this bird so much! They're found all over Cape Town, well where ever there is food.

Looking down from the top of the mountain.

In the cable car on the way down to the lower station.

And a fail sauce jumping in action photo *laughs*

The aim of uploading these pictures of my hometown is to hopefully get people more interested in where I stay. It isn't ranked the #1 Tourist destination to visit for nothing *laughs* So whenever I visit Cape Town I try to visit as many tourist attractions as possible to give you, my lovely readers a better insight into the world I live in!

Till the next tourist attraction!
Bye Bye!
