Review| TopShop's Lip Cream in Lotus Flower!

Evening!

Gosh it's already the beginning of the new month, just last month I celebrated my birthday, time sure does fly doesn't it? But I'm not complaining since I can't wait for this year to end and uni to end! I need a holiday already! Tonight I am super excited to review TopShop's lip cream, I've been literally dying (not even itching) to review TopShop's lip cream because it looked super pigmented whenever I looked at it in the shop. But of course, with me being a cheap skate and all, I'll only ever purchase something if it's on sale and when there is an extra 30%/70% off that's even better! I bought my lip cream for R69::$6.46 and it's original price was R99::$9.27. For all the S.A readers I don't think you'll be able to buy this product anymore since A. It was on sale after all and they tend to remove sale stock pretty quickly and B. There wasn't that many left at the TopShop I purchased mine from, but their lip tar is a pretty good buy instead of the lip cream! I hope you enjoy tonight's post! :)

You know what to do :)

I honestly never thought that the lip cream would be as pigmented as it was because when I see something in a tube and has a doe foot applicator I A. Liken it to lip gloss which sucks and has no pigment and B. It probably has an awful smell to it and I'm never going to use it again! This on the other hand is nothing like what I thought it would be. It's creamy, it's glides onto my lips effortlessly and I can wear it for the entire day without it bleeding into the lines of my lips or making them taught and chapped!
I bought the color "Lotus Flower" because I tend to veer towards deep plum and red shades. When eating it leaves a stain on the lips which is wearable without having to touch up. On the day that I decided to test this lip cream out and see how it fairs with eating, my mum was surprised and told me she couldn't believe the color stayed on my lips through all my eating *laughs* I don't think I can rave enough about a product like this lip cream, it's my go to "lipstick" when I don't feel like applying Revlon's lacquer balms or a lipstick. What I do have a gripe about this product is the smell, I'm not exactly crazy about the smell of lip products because I feel like it suffocates my nose everytime I breath. I mentioned in an earlier post that I didn't like the smell of mint in Revlon's chubby stick range and this is no different. The lip cream has a sweet sickly smell to it, but hey, that's not going to stop me from a buying a product that satisfies all my dual toned lip problems!

I hope this review was somewhat helpful and till we meet again!
Bye Bye! :)
