Nail Art|Black Stamping

Evening!

Another evening post, another day, another night! Honours is sucking me up whole with all limbs attached! Oh, in case I didn't mention this but I was accepted into Honours last year and now Ive delved into the world of Molecular Physiology! Which entails researching and studying receptors that may or may not cause specific pathophysiological conditions in humans. Specifically I'm interested in the CCR5 receptor which AIDS uses to infect and inhabit the host cell...but yea that's a discussion for another blog post *laughs*. Since I don't have much time these days and I'm always trying to find ways to make my talons (fake or not) to look good at all times, I either steer towards stamping or nail wraps. Tonight I have a mani that was based off of a previous mani that I had done way back in 2012, I kinda like the old mani but I think this one is way better and I hope all of you will think so too! :)

Travel Log|Adentures in Kirstenbosch

Evening!

I've just discovered the wonders and joy of Skype...yeah I know I'm slow with everything. As I mentioned previously my grandfather has kidney failure and is on dialysis my aunt kept nagging me to get Skype for a while. When I eventually did get it, seeing my grandfather's face on the other side of the screen gave me the greatest amount of joy and I wouldn't trade it for the world and I'm so glad that social platforms such as Skype were made by an incredibly, perfect person *laughs*. So onto what this post is really about! I visited Kirstenbosh again because the brother said that there was a new trail/walkway that recently opened. To my...agony/surprise it was a canopy walkway where you're able to overlook the tops of the trees and I fail to remember time and time again that I hate heights (even though I hate to admit it out loud). With that being said, all you height lovers will absolutely love the new walkway, if you ever come down to South Africa and visit Kirstenbosh. I hope you enjoy tonight's post! :)

Evening!

Tomorrow is lab day! So this little blogger will be stuck in the lab all day everyday starting from tomorrow (oh, what fun!). On another note I chose these silver nail wraps from BornPretty Store which might I add are the best nail wraps I've applied in a long while. Usually nail wraps don't impress me too much when it concerns the adhesive department. They either start lifting after a week or I'm able to pick them off too easily. These however lasted a week and I had to remove them with nail-polish remover because I couldn't pick them off (score!). What did irritate me though about the nail wraps was a clear film over the wrap that started lifting after a few days. Once I pulled the film off the nail wrap actually looked better and more sparkly, so I'm not sure what that film was. I hope you like tonight's post! :)

Good Morning!

I'm apologizing once again for not blogging in some-time (and I was doing so well with blogging too) but I have a super valid reason. I had all four wisdom teeth excised out of my gums last Monday.....and need I say I've never felt less than a human in all my life than what I feel at this very moment. So to gradually re-introduce myself into posting and blogging again, here's a little mani I did a while back in my home-town. I hope you like it!

Till we meet again!
Bye Bye!

Good (Late) Afternoon!

Since I didn't have the time to venture off to unknown and unexplored places in my home-town (boo-hoo!) this time around. I visited some golden oldies which I always visit, aka the beach! Even though I can't swim I love a good seaside breeze and the smell of salt in the air! To see my other adventures at the beach (Which are a bit more exciting) click here and here! I hope you enjoy this afternoon's post :)

Till we meet again!

Swatch|Sally Hansen Satin Glam in Go Gold

Friday, 2 January 2015  at 11:57 am
Good Afternoon!

My first post of 2015! What better way to welcome in the new year with Sally Hansen's Go Gold which is a rich, shimmery, gold nail-polish which I've fallen in love with! It happens to compliment my skin tone perfectly since gold tones tend to look weird on my nails (I don't know why). I hope everyone has an amazing year ahead of them filled with joy and laughter. 2014 has had to have been the worst year I ever encountered in my life, for a multitude of reasons. The primary one involving my grandfather who was diagnosed with chronic renal failure at the end of 2014. So I hope 2015 brings much happiness and adventure!

I applied two coats of Go Gold on my nails and didn't experience any chipping after one week.

Till the next post!
Bye Bye!
