Nail Art| Halloween Attempt #Fail!

Sunday, 5 October 2014  at 8:56 pm
Evening!

So, I'm sure all of you have noticed (well I hope you have) that have been doing some missing in action activities and it looks like the forecaster predicts it's going to happen up until the 16th of this month! I'm not going to tell you how swamped I am with uni work, but I honestly am, and I'm sinking not even swimming! With that being said, I had an amazing idea to welcome Halloween to all of you through a series of nail art posts. Well that didn't work out too well, and this post was born with my failed and more than lack luster attempt at a Halloween nail art idea. I'll have something better posted closer to Halloween but for now, please bear with me!

You know what to do :)

My original plan was to ease myself into the nail art world again, because lets face it, I haven't been painting my nails at all and the last thing you'd want to see is how terrible my nail art can really get! *laughs* I picked these Halloween nail art foils from TopShop some months back, in preparation for Halloween. When I first laid eyes on them, I couldn't help but smile at how cute they look! I thought they'd look perfect when applied, oh boy was I wrong! As you can see in the picture below, my nail beds are ridiculously small in my opinion for an adult women #petitewomenproblems! All you can see from the foils, are the spiders butt, Frankenstein's eyes and the mummy doesn't even look like one! All in all I'm disappointed that this didn't work out how I wanted it to, but not all things can go your way all the time.

Frankenstein doesn't even fit properly on my thumb!

I know this post is properly one of the most useless ones out there, but I thought I'd share my frustration and disappointment with all of you.

Till we meet again (and hopefully I'll be less grumpy)
Bye Bye!

  1. Aww, the stickers are so cute! I'm not a fan of nail stickers. I find them very hard to apply and they never stay on. I think the main problem here is that the stickers are too big! You can barely see the designs on some of them after applying it. Not good for people with small nails like me :(
