A quickie!

Evening!

This is really, really, really, a quickie of a post! My weeks have been hell-ish to say the least. I swear dying is easier than this crap I'm bombarded with everyday at uni! So, I'm writing my semester test tomorrow and if this post makes little or no sense at all....forgive me! I'm running on literally no sleep and I've been pushed to my limits, but no giving up now! I've been savoring every bit of time I can get these days at uni and at home to finish assignments, lab reports, essays and study. It's beyond hectic, hectic isn't even the word to describe it. On top of that this semester I've picked up and extra subject so in total I have four subjects now. That might not sound like much but believe having three majors....is a force to be reckoned with. So, lovelies please wait for me for JUST a while longer. My semester ends in two weeks time! I can't wait, the uni managed to squeeze EVERYTHING in one week! So, I have three tests, two lab reports and one essay to hand in all in one week. I have to get back to studying soon *big, huge sigh* On top of that everyone at uni is just stressed out and both favourite person and I have been working our bum bums off! It's really crazy. So, this is what's happeneing with me now.....it's tough.

Bucket list and Inspiration

Afternoon!

While I was lurking on pinterest, we heart it and Tumblr, I decided to compile a few things I wanted to share with my lovelies, think of it as getting to know me even better *smiles*

MY BUCKET LIST

I've been so obsessed with dipped dyed hair I want to get it done on my hair, but because my hair is so dark I'm not keen on bleaching my tips, damaging them then dying them :S

 

 INSPIRATION (that I get for my nail designs)

Saw the Essence "Special effects" nail polish in the store yesterday when I was with favourite person I  

REALLY! wanted to buy it...buuut, I didn't want to spend any money that day *laughs*

I think they're called nail wraps(?) I don't know I call them metallic nail stickers. I'm SO in love with these metallic nail stickers, too bad they don't sell them down here I really want to try these out.

 

And that pretty much wraps up todays post! I hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend! By far my weekend has been the scariest one I've ever had! *scratches head*

DIY'ing!

Evening!

I tried my hand at a bit of DIY'ing....I suppose? Considering I alter my jewelry all the time it isn't really DIY'ing for me. I've been interested in stacking my bracelets lately (on my arm of course!). Since Summer is going to rear it's pretty head soon, arm candy is a must! I don't think any of my lovelies know but I'm OBSESSED with having a name written on a grain of rice! Yes, I'm childish like that. It must have something to do with feeling closer to them? I don't know, I love small things that give me comfort and these bracelets always manage to do that for me.

I replaced the black strap with red rope and red ribbon. Since red is a lucky colour I decided to make the bracelet entirely red.

Bought these at the Oriental City close to my house. Since the snow blizzard and my hands almost dying I bought these so I'm better equipped when another snow blizzard decides to come along.

Simple diamond studs for my second ear piercing. Oh, I need to say this, to all the lovelies that want to get extra piercings when you get them pierced using a needle, the whole it creates is big I won't say huge to scare you off but...it's pretty big >< I won't ever not wear a second earring because the hole is so big. I should have gotten my second ear piercing done with a gun but at the time I didn't know any better, a gun creates a smaller hole but healing time is longer than with a needle. So, there's a con and a pro to each method.

First snow experience!

Evening, evening, evening!

I'm SO excited to share my first experience of finally being able to see, touch and taste snow! I'm sure many of my lovelies don't know but I live in the Southern hemisphere and down here it never snows! So, when it started snowing yesterday I was absolutely thrilled! Beyond thrilled actually. Seeing snow for the very first time just made my sick of a crappy day worthwhile! It was absolutely amazing! I can't describe or show any more excitement for how happy I was. I need to say though, that the representation of snow on TV and in real life is ABSOLUTELY misleading. They always make snow look as if it's not cold and it's awesome and the weather isn't freezing. It was literally a snow blizzard and I couldn't feel my hands! I was in the snow so long taking pictures of everything covered in its absolute glory that I seemed to forget I couldn't feel my fingers! My hands were BLOOD red! I thought the tissue in my hands were going to start dying they were so cold! *laughs* But besides the wonderful day I had, prior to that I've been seriously ill lately, I literally have to drag my bum bum to uni everyday it's awful. The one thing that upset me the most that day was, I was sick and I had to trek through the awful freezing blizzard! You might think that favorite person would offer me a lift, but oh no, he didn't. I'm sure anyone else if they had known how ill I was that day would have given me a lift. It's true what my mom said you honestly can't rely on anyone these days besides your family.  

If you're in a relationship aren't you meant to be able to rely on each other?

 On my way to Med Campus, I had to take refuge underneath a parking area because it was so cold. The snow was relentless! It attacked me from all sides!

 I loved how magical it made the lawns look, usually these lawns look like poop but now with the snow it feels like a winter wonderland!

Somebodies car covered in snow. At Med Campus, people were writing messages like "I'm here", "it's snowing!" and "wash your car" on other people's cars *laughs*

Tried with all my might to pose like a true poser....

 But, the snow won in the end. It flew into my mouth, in my eyes JUST everywhere, I'm not complaining *smiles*

 Loved how the flowers looked after the snow had fallen!

My BLOOD red hands! At this point I couldn't feel them at all >< I never realized how sore your hands can get when it's extremely cold!

I know that everyone in the Northern will be laughing at me at how amazed I am at snow, but seriously the stuff is awesome! It'll make my day everyday if it snowed!
