Nail Art| Half Moon

Afternoon!

I'm finally semi-recovered from my cold since stopping my awful antibiotics! Today's nail art design is a very simple one that you can do if you don't have time to whip out the nail out brush and painstakingly paint a Da Vinci piece on your nails *laughs* I hope you like it! :)

Life| The Cold & Clarithromyocin

Monday, 21 April 2014  at 7:43 am
Morning!

So as the title suggests I've come down with a cold (boohoo!). I first started feeling ill on Thursday after uni and had the usual head pain, sore throat and temperature fluctuation. I went to the doctor the Friday and he prescribed me Clarithromyocin because I didn't want Augmentim because that gives me some nasty side effects. Let me tell you, for anyone out there who has a bacterial infection, do not allow your doctor under any circumstances to prescribe you Clarithromyocin! I took my first pill the morning I had come back from the doctor (after eating of course) and I had bad gastrointestinal side effects. If I could have taken my stomach out at that point I would have. On the second day, I started experiencing head-aches, I'd get suddenly very hot and I couldn't sleep. On day three, I had complete insomnia and I was only sleeping for a few minutes at a time. During the minutes I slept, I'd hear the voices of my mum and brother calling out to me although no one had ever been near my room. Apparently that's one of the uncommon side effects. I'm now meant to take my second last pill and seriously with all these side effects I'm sticking my cold out or until I go to the doctor for another prescription of antibiotics which I don't want. Usually I have no adverse reactions to antibiotics except Augmentin but this has had to top the cherry on the cake with the most amount of side-effects I've ever had to endure. Why anyone would prescribe an antibiotic like this is beyond my understanding. With that being said, this is why I haven't been posting, it sucks to receive medication that isn't really working for me at all. I don't feel better in the slightest and I don't want anymore antibiotics screwing with my immune system *sigh*

I hope everyone is having a much healthier day than me!
Till we meet again!
Bye Bye!

Nail Art| Easter Nails!

Saturday, 12 April 2014  at 9:31 pm
Good Evening!

Who's excited for Easter, (For anyone that celebrates it)? I know I sure I am, I remember when I was a girl scout...yes, I said girl scout, I use to love going on Easter egg hunts and those times were one of the many memories I'll forever treasure. To this day, I still love going on Easter egg hunts, until I realize my Easter egg has been sitting in dirt and I'm about to eat it *laughs*. In celebration of Easter, I've of course attempted my hand at an Easter nail art idea. I've never been one to attempt special occasion nails (because they're too much effort *laughs*) but I think this one turned out pretty ok. I hope you like it! :)

Review| Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in #130 "Tease"

Wednesday, 9 April 2014  at 10:08 am
Good Morning!

I said many moons ago that I would be purchasing a second lacquer balm from the amazing Revlon line, I eventually did and of course it blew my mind away! The main reason I'm so in love with the lacquer balms, is not only it's longevity on the lips but that it hydrates my lips throughout the entire day I'm wearing it. I've never experienced any bleeding into the lines of my lips....and it's just amazing! If I could buy all the lacquer balms I would. I hope you enjoy this morning's post! :) If you'd like to read my review on Revlon's "Provocateur" lacquer balm clikey here!

Nail Art| Graduation Nails!

Sunday, 6 April 2014  at 3:52 pm
Afternoon!

Boohoo! Tomorrow is the start of the new semester for uni *cries* I hate that the week has to start on a Monday *laughs*. As you all know, I graduated last week Monday and  I've been itching to share what I did with my nails on the day of the graduation. I wanted something simple and under-stated, what better way to achieve that, than to go for a nude base-coat and slather on the glitter! Since I had sequins and sparkly things on my graduation dress, I didn't want my nails to detract attention away from my dress *laughs* I hope you enjoy this afternoon's post! :)

Afternoon!

So, on Monday I finally graduated from uni! Finally! There's something about graduation that validates all the hard work and suffering you have to endure during your three year stay at uni *laughs*. It's nice to know that finally I'm a fully fledged biochemist even though I don't feel like one *laughs* I hope you enjoy this afternoon's post!

Dress ::Forever New::
Heels ::Juliette::

Finally a graduate and managed to snap a picture with my uni's mascot, they were so fun walking around with those Kudu masks over their heads *laughs*

I hope you liked the pictures and till we meet again!
